From inception, to final product, Saleen turns dreams into reality. Our team is comprised of leaders in many disciplines, all working together in unison to achieve a finished product that is of unparalleled design and quality. We have a full time in-house engineering department with expertise in all areas of automotive design including but not limited to chassis, body, powertrain, electrical and aerodynamics to name a few.
Engineering often works hand in hand with with our vehicle design team to ensure that all exterior, interior, and componentry details meet SAE requirements, yet still maintain the genesis and inspire of the original design.
Saleen vehicles are wind tunnel tested at both scale and full size models to verify aerodynamic efficiency. In addition to wind tunnel testing we also utilize the latest in computer fluid dynamic simulation.
Like a traditional OEM vehicle manufacturer, Saleen also has wide-range experience in crash testing, vehicle certification, and emissions requirements. All of the above results in a robust roster that positions us uniquely amongst our competition.

Saleen is known worldwide for developing purposeful design elements to create the world’s best performing vehicles. In fact, the Saleen S7 is so aerodynamically advanced, that at speeds greater than 160 MPH, the car’s aerodynamics create a down force that exceeds the weight of the car, therefore giving it the ability to corner unlike any other vehicle on the road or track.
